Sarriko

The only station in Bilbao with only one exit is Sarriko and it's our station. Since Sunday the electronic metro timetable was not working and this morning I jumped in to the wrong metro. Luckily I realized that before the next stop and I jumped out on San Inazio, the next station. I waited for the Plentzia metro for two minutes and that was it. There we go for one more work day at Ian Mosh. Again we where packing clothes once we don't have internet and I can do my work without it. It was tuff day. After being packing yesterday today it felt hard. After work I was seeking for a 'Siesta' and that's what I did, went for a 'Siesta' and I couldn't wake up before 8, ops, was too tired.

Viernes en Ian Mosh

Last week went so fast and its again Monday! Today I had an opportunity to see and do another task. Went to the department where they prepare the clothes before they store it or send to the retailers. What this prepare means? The factory send the goods to the storage, when the goods arrive to the storage we have to check them before pack. Sometimes some of them has some defect, if this is the case we have to put them apart to send to the factory again. When is a small defect the dressmaker who is in the store correct it. After this we fold the clothes and we pack them and we put into a plastic bag paying attention that the same references of goodies will have the same size to avoid that they damage after long time in the storage. Well, again I learned something new. Miriam was carefully explaining me how the package has to be done. After some time I saw myself packing perfectly and I was happy about my learning.
We also took care of some orders from the online shop, how they pack the parcel, oooh, looks like a gift. I'm happy that I learned that in Ian Mosh.

It was a rainy day, its amazing to hear the rain when you are inside and specially in Ian Mosh because they have tin roof. When I left work with Laura it was slightly raining but after few minutes it was sunny. We were on the train when the sun started to shine and I thought to myself that it would be nice to have a walk in the city (Abando) but what was my surprise? It was raining again :( Luckily I had my umbrella with me and went for a walk...

So, coming to Bilbao do not forget your umbrella!!!

I didn't bring raining boots to Bilbao, couldn't imagine jow rainy Bilbao is even after Iker warn us. Today it was raining so much that I went to fashion shoes shop to buy raining boots.

Weekend in Bilbao

Lovely weekend with my lovely colleagues!
Saturday we have been hanging around the old city of Bilbao. How to describe that city? It's just amazing. OOOH; we couldn't come to Bilbao in better time: REBAJAS = SALES!!! So Saturday we got crazy with the sales!!! But we also appreciate the beautiful Bilbao's old city and we also had time for a Pincho. The Spanish snacks which are available every Cafe/bar and guess is it good??? Yummy!

Windy beach day...
.

Sunday we went to the beach even it was windy and rainy. It was funny to take the pictures. After some pictures everybody wanted to go to the cafeteria in front of the beach because of the cold but was that open? Many of the cafeterias are closed on Sundays but lucky us, Ilona bar was open. Time to warm up and get something to eat...

Once every shops are closed on Sundays we decided to bake at home after our lovely visit to the beach. It was again a lovely experience with the girls after we realise that instead of buy baking powder we bought dry yeast. The 15 cooking minutes waiting for the muffins were the funniest of the day because we didn't know what to expect from our chocolate muffins. They were surprisingly goods :)

My first week in Ian Mosh

Start the training in Ian Mosh was intriguing. Get to know how such a big company works made me feel more interested in the work. When Laura gave me the list of the products or better saying, catalogue I could see that won't be difficult to do the work because everything was really well organised and that's really important in that kind of company (shop). They are building the online shop and now is the time to organise everything they need for that. Name the articles for the shop was my first activity and I was pleasure to do that. The best thing is to understand how the online shop's backstage works.  That interest me because I'm building my own online shop and I feel that I have a lot to learn in Ian Mosh.
Wow, I could follow Miriam packing an order, how I love it. It looked amazing in the final end. How small things can make something small look lovely, I'm glad I had a chance to follow that and on Thursday I could do It myself, it was an amazing experience, I felt like I make part of Ian Mosh because they let me do things like a normal worker and not as a trainee as I am! Preparing an order to an online shop and organize the articles to send to them was also one of my tasks this week.

Already excited to see what is reserved for the next week :)

Bilbao, there we go!

After a long time waiting for this training abroad now is time to go to Bilbao for two months placement at Ian Mosh. As we are four taking a placement in Bilbao we decided to meet at the airport. We met at 4:30 as our flight was at 6:35. We made the check in and went to have a breakfast. I was not feeling so well; getting flu, ought, right now :(
The trip was not so good for me from the beginning, I was coughing all the time and that wasn't fun but...
The arrival to Bilbao was fascinated. Lovely green city in the middle of mountains.
After the landing I was excited to see how the city looks like. On the way home I could appreciate a little bit and feel myself in the middle of those high mountains, I love it.
In the afternoon I went with Iker to meet my work place, Ian Mosh. There I met Laura, the girl who will be coaching me during the placement. The place is quite big and I like it. On our way back Iker drove by the see side, amazing area.

When I arrived home the girls were just arriving from the supermarket. Time to cook!!! Huuum, guess what was our first meal? Yeees, pasta!!! It was the easiest and faster food to make before we go out again with Iker.

We went to the travel agency to make our train cards, huuum, with a photo. I will keep that card with me as a souvenir from  my placement in Bilbao.
The first evening was spent by walking around the old and new city of Bilbao. That was how the day finished after the early wake up call.

A special thanks to Iker for this day :)
